There are some songs that, the opening few bars, can make my stomach flip. This is one of them.
Based on “A Book of Dreams “ by Peter Reich , son of the philosopher Wilhelm Reich.
It’s an extraordinary story of one boys love for his increasingly eccentric Father.
Birdland by Patti Smith was also inspired by the same book.
The video was directed by Julian Doyle and conceived by Kate Bush and Terry Gilliam.
It features the wonderful Donald Sutherland as Reich himself.
