ABOUT THE COLLECTION

“I have collected almost 300 Jaws paperbacks for an installation piece called Transference. The books in person appear to be the same but what becomes apparent is the unique appearance of each copy. Each person who has read it and perhaps shared it with more people have left their mark. I see it as a demonstration that we are all the same on people on first glance and yet unique in our own way. Transference the title refers to the transference of people who have owned the books.

The prints are a series of 7, each one is a different set of books and they are printed life size to give the illusion seeing the originals. The entire set of 7 represent all the books.”
